Review: GoRecliners.com

I recently came across a site called GoRecliners.com and as you can imagine they sell a variety recliners. The site is very easy to navigate but what really caught my attention though is the great prices. They are currently having a sale that ends May 13. There is no sales tax and free shipping on EVERYTHING, so hurry and get in on this great deal while you still can. The black leatherette recliner pictured above is only $299! That is such a great price. There are a number of different styles available, some classic, some modern, and even a few interesting color options. I have always associated recliners with my dad. That was "his chair" in the living room and the place he went to relax and watch sports on the t.v. When I went to GoRecliners.com and saw that they had sports team recliners I thought of how much my dad would love to have a recliner with his favorite sports team logo on it. With Fathers Day coming up soon this could make an excellent gift for a sports fan dad or husband.

I have sensitive skin so I was a little concerned that the InstantPeel would irritate my skin. I found that the product itself wasn't an issue but the vigorous rubbing back and forth across the skin was slightly irritating to my skin which wasn't really that big of a deal. The product is very easy to use and there is even a little instruction booklet that tells you how often they recommend you use the InstantPeel based on skin type. The best place to use it is in the shower after your skin has been steamed for at least 5 minutes. You then take a small amount of the product and rub it on your skin back and forth. The product starts to peel up (it kind of reminds me of when you get glue on your hands and you rub your hands together to get it off) and with it goes the dead skin. You repeat this until you have used it everyone you want to. Afterwords you rinse it off (you may need to use some soap and water) and then you are done! My skin was ultra soft and had a healthy glow. I usually use a mild exfoliator to get rid of the dead skin cells but the InstantPeel made more of an immediate change in the way my skin felt so I will definitely be using it the recommended once every three weeks on my sensitive/dry skin. Review: Granola Gourmet Energy Bars

I received 4 flavors of the Granola Gourmet Energy Bars for review:

• Ultimate Berry
• Ultimate Cran-Orange

First I would like to point out that these bars have Agave syrup in them as the sweetener. I'm not a big fan of granola bars, mostly because they are packed with tons of sugar. I feel like if I'm going to eat that much sugar I might as well just eat something more delicious like a cookie instead, however I was pretty excited about trying these bars because they are made with Agave instead of regular sugar. Here are my thoughts on each flavor:

Ultimate Berry:
It had a very strong, nasty faux berry taste. Not good at all. I actually had to spit it out.

Ultimate Cran-Orange:
As soon as I opened the wrapper I was hit with a powerful orange extract type of smell. It kind of smelled like cleaning products. It also tasted that way as well. The taste was overpowering and it was inedible.

Ultimate Mocha Fudge:
This flavor wasn't bad, but it wasn't that good either. I could taste the mocha but the chocolate flavor was very bland.

Ultimate Fudge Brownie:
Of the four this was the best flavor, but still not that great.

I was very underwhelmed with this product. The flavors seem to be on opposite ends of the spectrum...either overpowering (in a very bad way) or bland. I didn't like the texture of the bars either. This is not a product I would ever try again. Some people may like these energy bars but I am definitely not one of them.

These heart shaped cookies are so delicious! Don't mistake these for the cheap and rather bad tasting cookies you find in the bakery department of the grocery store. These cookies are real sugar cookies like the kind you would make at home. What I like most about these frosted heart cookies is that the cookie itself is not too sweet so that with the icing on top it isn't sugar overkill. The cookies are nice and large so it is a very satisfying sweet treat. As for appearance, the cookies are so cute! They look just like the ones shown in the picture with pink frosting and white smiley faces. This is definitely something kids would love. The cookies, which are $12.99 a dozen, are placed in a clear plastic shell container which was inside a really cute smiley face covered box when I received it. If you give these cookie as a gift you don't even need to wrap it because the box is so cute! If you don't have time to make heart shaped cookies or you just don't feel like it then you should definitely get a box of these cookies. Very good quality in taste and appearance, you just can't go wrong with these. I also want to point at that on the website you can create your own cookie by choosing the shape, color of the base frosting, and color of the smiley face frosting

I received the Big Foot Inn shirt (shown above) for review. It has a great vintage look and feel to it. The graphic looks great and isn't something that would peel off in the wash. Also, sometimes graphics on a shirt will make it uncomfortable to wear because the backing is stiff against the skin but this is not the case with this shirt. It is super comfy to wear. I do wish the site listed the color of the shirt on the info page though. In the picture it looks black (in my opinion) but when I got the shirt it turned out to be a dark navy blue. I still love the shirt but I do think that customers would rather not be surprised about what color their shirt is going to be. From what I can tell some of the shirts on the site do have colors listed but for some reason not all of them do. Overall I loved the shirt and this company is great. Shipping always seems to be pretty fast with them and their customer service is always great too. They have a great variety of shirts to choose from!

I received the Heads Up Seven Up Champ shirt for review. Some of you may remember the game from elementary school where everyone puts their head down and their thumbs up. Seven kids are chosen to go around and push down the thumb of one kid each. They then go to the front of the room and the kids whose thumbs were pushed down have to guess which of the seven pushed their thumb down. This shirt made me feel very nostalgic and I knew I just had to have it.
The quality of the shirt is great. It isn't some flimsy shirt that will rip or get messed up in the washing machine after just a few washes. The only complaint I have is that in the description of the shirt it says it is printed on a green heather shirt (as you can see in the picture above), but the shirt I received is printed on a bright kelly green shirt. I just so happen to like that shade of green but I would have preferred it in green heather, especially since that was what I was expecting. I also think the green heather looks better with the design. I think the site should be clear on what color each shirt is. Overall though I was happy with the shirt. I love the Crazy Dog T-shirt site because there are so many funny and unique shirts to choose from. I love wearing their shirts because so many people stop and tell me how cool they are and ask where I got them from.

I received the ReBinder Office Supplies Sample Pack to review which included all of the above. The cost of all this is only $24.99, which is a great deal! These supplies are recycled which is something I have not personally seen in stores before. Everything has a cardboard look to it but the binders are very sturdy. The appearance of these supplies can easily be jazzed up whether its with stickers, markers, or whatever else you want to use. The products I like the most in the pack is the binders. I remember hating when I had to get a new binder for school. I would get the solid color plastic ones that every would get. To me they really stink. I even tried washing it in soapy water to get the smell off but no matter what I tried they continued to have that gross plastic smell. The recycled binders have no funky smells so I was definitely happy with that. The CD sleeves are pretty neat and very useful for storing any loose CDs or DVDs you might have. Another item I really liked is the pocket folders. They aren't flimsy, they a little sturdiness to them so that you don't have to worry about it bending easily and messing up your papers inside.
The description for each item is very accurate. It is exactly what it is described as which is great. I personally feel a little trepidation when buying things online because you never know if the description is true. In this case it is. Everything is of good quality and is made from recycled materials.
